Pluto in Aquarius: dates, meaning and what it means for your sign
Pluto in Aquarius is one of the slow transits that set the tone for years. This guide gives the exact dates Pluto enters and leaves Aquarius, what astrologers read into it, the retrogrades that happen inside it and the area of life it touches for each sign.
Pluto is in Aquarius from March 23, 2023 to January 19, 2044, with short returns to the neighbouring signs at both ends; the unbroken stay runs from November 19, 2024 to March 9, 2043. Astrologers read it as a long reshaping of power in groups, networks and technology.

When is Pluto in Aquarius?
Pluto is in Aquarius from March 23, 2023 to January 19, 2044, with short returns to the neighbouring signs at both ends; the unbroken stay runs from November 19, 2024 to March 9, 2043. A slow planet often enters a sign, backs out of it while retrograde and then returns to stay; that is why there is more than one date. After that Pluto is in Pisces from January 19, 2044.
What Pluto in Aquarius means
Pluto stands for power, deep change and what is hidden; Aquarius is the sign of groups, networks, technology and ideas about the future. Astrologers read the transit, which lasts about two decades, as a slow reshaping of collective power: who controls information and technology, how communities organise, and what freedom means. In a personal chart it works through the house that Aquarius occupies.
Who notices it most. People with the Sun, Moon, rising sign or personal planets in Aquarius, and in Taurus, Leo and Scorpio, which Pluto squares or opposes from Aquarius. Everyone else can read it through the house it falls in, below.
What to do
Notice where you depend on a network or a platform, and where you hold or give away power in groups. Put your effort into communities you can actually influence. The sky suggests; you decide.
