Who we are

AstraLink ("we", "us") operates this website and the AstraLink early-access waitlist. We are based in the United States. For anything in this policy, write to privacy@astra-link.app or use the contact page.

What we collect on this site

Early-access form. When you join the waitlist we ask for your email address and birth date. Optionally, you can add your first name, gender and who you are looking for. We also record the page you signed up from, standard campaign parameters (UTM tags in the link you arrived by) and your browser's user agent string. Nothing else on the form is required, and we do not ask for birth time, birthplace, phone number or photos on the website; those belong to the app and its own notice.

Free tools. The calculators on this site (birth chart, compatibility, Saturn return, biorhythm and others) run in your browser. The birth data you type into them is not sent to us unless you also submit the early-access form.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical data when a page loads, including IP address, the page requested and the time. We use this for security and to keep the site running, and it is kept for a short period.

Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you.

Why we collect it

• Email: to send your early-access invitation and, at most, occasional updates about the launch. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
• Birth date: to compute your Sun sign, prepare a preview chart for your invitation and place you in the right onboarding wave. It is the minimum astrology needs.
• Name, gender, who you are looking for: to pre-fill your matching preferences in the app if you choose to use Cosmic Dating. All three are optional and can be left blank.
• Signup page, campaign parameters, user agent: to understand which pages and channels bring people to the waitlist, and to detect spam signups.

We rely on your consent (the checkbox on the form) for the waitlist and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for server logs.

Where your data is stored and who processes it

Waitlist data is stored in a database on encrypted infrastructure located in the United States. We use Vercel to host the website and receive form submissions, and Supabase to store waitlist records; both act as processors on our instructions under their own security and privacy commitments. We use an email service provider to send invitations. We may use a workflow tool to route form submissions if needed. All of these providers are bound by contracts that limit how they may use your data, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we have never done so. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with the processors named above, with a successor if AstraLink is ever acquired (you would be told), or when the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

By default this website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, and does not use cross-site tracking. The early-access form uses the browser's own storage only to remember that you already signed up. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, this section will list the tool, what it collects and how to opt out before it goes live. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where it applies.

How long we keep it

Waitlist records are kept until the launch programme they belong to ends or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you never claim an invitation, we delete your waitlist record within twelve months of the public launch. Server logs are kept for no more than ninety days. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period after.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to privacy@astra-link.app from the address you signed up with, or use the contact page. We confirm deletions within thirty days. Unsubscribe links work immediately.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it (this policy), to request access to or deletion of your information, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of; if that ever changed, we would add a "Do Not Sell or Share" link before doing so. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we will verify the request by contacting the email on file. Send requests to privacy@astra-link.app.

Children

The website, the waitlist and the app are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has joined the waitlist, tell us and we will delete the record.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who need it to run the waitlist, and form submissions are protected against automated abuse. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data ever occurred, we would notify you as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect. The terms of use govern use of the site; our editorial policy covers how content is produced.
