Virgo dates: are you really a Virgo?

The Sun is in Virgo from about August 23 to September 22 each year. The exact moment it enters and leaves the sign shifts by roughly six hours from one year to the next, and by time zone, so a birthday on August 22–23 or September 22–23 can fall on either side of the line.
