What happens when Venus turns direct
Since October 3 Venus has moved backwards from 8°29′ Scorpio to 22°52′ Libra. On November 14 at 00:28 UTC it stops and turns forward. For several days around the station Venus hardly moves, and astrologers treat that pause as the moment the review comes to a head: what you learned about a relationship, about what you value and about your spending is as clear as it is going to get.
In the sky, Venus is now a morning star. It passed between Earth and the Sun on October 24 and rises before dawn through the rest of the year.
The shadow: November 14 to December 15
Direct does not mean done. Venus spends the next month covering the same degrees for the third time: late Libra until December 4, then the first degrees of Scorpio until December 15. Astrologers call this the post-retrograde shadow and read it as the follow-through: you act on conclusions, have the conversations you planned, and see whether a reconnection holds up in ordinary life.

- December 4 to December 15 (Venus back in Scorpio): decide about trust, commitment and shared money with what you now know.
- After December 15: the choices you postponed, such as a big purchase, a new look or making a new relationship official, are on fresh ground.
If someone from the past came back during the retrograde, the shadow is the test: interest that survives into mid-December is worth taking seriously.
